Testamonials:"Within four weeks I was transformed from reluctant beginner to rabid rock god (at least in my own mind)! A thrilling combination of learning, laughter and loud, loud music. Thank you FUOR!" Christophe "What a great experience! Singing as part of a group and getting a real thrill from making harmony together. I'm ready for the next one! A huge thank you for your enthusiasm, patience, support and humour. It may be scary, yet I recommend this experience to anyone who has a yearning to sing and play again." Brenda
"It is an ideal set up, getting a group of people together who just love music and fancy trying out their favourite songs under the guidance of proper musicians. You do songs that you really like and you get to perform in front of a really warm crowd, and each time it gets better!"
Dave
"The University of Rock was a great experience, met new people, had fun in a supportive environment, improved my playing confidence. Everyone really enjoyed it!"
Harvey
A wonderful experience. Who needs the sex and drugs!! In hindsight the achievement was incredible! A great opportunity to develop skills and make new friends.
Graeme
Sounds cliché but it’s really life changing stuff - all from one casual conversation, a bit of a push, thinking ‘why not ?’, thrown in the deep end ...adrenaline rush and sense of achievement, I’ve been buzzing all week, even thinking of having singing lessons.
Nigel
The University of Rock is a truly wonderful experience! I followed my daughter's example - the joy of standing on stage making a righteous racket with some new friends blows you away. You know you want to - just do it!
Simon
What is Felix's University of Rock? Well, I guess you could call it School of Rock for grown-ups! Felix puts you in a band, professional tutors and technicians teach you what you need to know to get it onstage.Lots of parents have seen their kids getting up on stage and rocking out at FSOR so we decided that it was time to see if the rock gene really does come from the parents! And you know what!? It really does! After all it was our generation that invented rock music, right! The University of Rock has been a great experience for a large number of people, some who are pretty experienced, others who are real beginners - the common denominator is the willingness to have a go, the courage and commitment to get involved.
The atmosphere is unfailingly supportive and enthusiastic and everyone has a real blast - if the last gig was anything to go by we will be doing this for some time! Rock on! F
