YOU WILL NEED:

  1. YOUR ROCK AND ROLL SPIRIT!
  2. A PACKED LUNCH & DRINK WITH A SCREW-TOP LID
  3. YOUR CHEQUE BOOK TO PAY THE BALANCE ON DAY 1
  4. ONE OF THE FOLLOWING depending what you play:
     A) AN ELECTRIC GUITAR & SMALL AMP or
     B) A BASS GUITAR (Bass amp not needed) 
     C) A FULL ACOUSTIC DRUM KIT
     D) AN ELECTRIC KEYBOARD AND STAND (An amplifier is not needed for keys)    
    NOTE: If you do not have one of these you can rent one from fsor for a nominal fee of £15 for the 4 day session
  5. LABELS ON ALL YOUR STUFF
  6. DRUMMERS WILL NEED THEIR OWN KIT (unless they arrange to use an fsor kit), STICKS AND PLASTERS OR DRUMMING GLOVES TO PREVENT BLISTERS

 

 FSOR costs £165. We also operate a bursary scheme (See below).


Kids must be between the ages of 9 and 16.


Kids should have their own electric guitar or bass.



They must be able to play the guitar to a minimum standard of 3 chords competently and use a plectrum.



Drummers need access to a drum kit. FSOR can provide drum kits in certain cases.


First time applicants are sometimes required to come for an informal half hour assessment session (£16) prior to the rock school so that they can be appropriately grouped.


FSOR costs £165. Felix’s School of Rock wants as many people as possible to take part in our activities. We are able to offer a small number of bursaries to parents and carers who are in receipt of the following benefits: Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance, Pensioners, Asylum Seeker (SS or NASS), benefits
as a disabled person, Council Tax credit, Housing Benefit, Student Union Card
. A photocopy of recent benefit receipt or student card as proof of concession must be produced when a place is booked. We are not able to offer concessionary prices to people in receipt of Working Family Tax Credit except where annual family income is less than £18,000.
